Tahini Maple Coconut Fat Bombs

I've been meaning to post these delicious snacks full of blood sugar balancing healthy fats! If you are getting a craving for sugar, this is one of the best choices. Healthy fats help slow the absorption of the sugar, and the fiber from the coconut is also helpful for digestion and keeps blood sugar levels from spiking. This way, you don't keep craving sugar after your snack. You can finally feel SATIATED!

Tahini Maple Coconut Fat Bomb

Paleo, Dairy-Free, and Gluten Free

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup coconut butter
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup of coconut oil
  • 1 Tbs of ghee or butter (optional)
  • 1-2 Tbs maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup or more of shredded coconut (can substitute with hemp seeds, or other nuts or seeds)

Instructions:

  1. Melt the coconut butter, and coconut oil in a double boiler saucepan.
  2. Mix in the tahini and maple syrup and shredded coconut.
  3. Pour into a mini muffin tin or regular-sized muffin tin and freeze (can be stored in the refrigerator too)
